Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Hotel Stay in Niagara Falls

Enjoy a complimentary stay at the pre-cruise hotel. The evening allows time to become acquainted with the city. For your convenience, our Hospitality Desk will be located in the hotel, and our friendly staff can assist with everything from general questions about the upcoming voyage to reservation of premium experiences. Representatives will be available to provide suggestions for dining, entertainment and sightseeing options to maximize your time here.

Day 2: Embark in Port Colborne (Niagara Falls)

Begin your day in breathtaking Niagara Falls, which attracts millions of visitors each year. An optional pre-cruise premium experience takes you to the heart of its splendor. How many shimmering rainbows can you spot in the refreshing spray? The rumbling din of cascading waters forms a serene frequency. A narrated driving tour reveals popular attractions such as Whirlpool Rapids, the Floral Clock and Table Rock Park, with a stop downtown.

Day 3: Cleveland

Majestically situated on the south shore of Lake Erie between the Welland Canal and Detroit/Windsor, Cleveland offers much to behold. Choose a tour-de-force optional premium experience focused through the lens of famous films shot in Cleveland, including a visit to the home where “A Christmas Story” unfolded, to reminisce about secret decoder pins, Ovaltine and the infamous Red Ryder BB gun.

Day 4: Detroit

There’s no better place than the Motor City to choose an optional premium experience to explore the captivating history of the automotive industry – and so much more – at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Be astounded by its vast and varied artifacts of American heritage. The extraordinary exhibits chronicle the lifespan of a nation. All guests may choose an included excursion to the Detroit Institute of Arts and its 100-plus galleries, the Motown Museum, the West Canfield Historic District and other city highlights.

Day 5: Scenic Sailing on Lake Huron

Today the M/V Victory I transforms into a self-contained universe ripe for exploration. Craft your experience as you choose: Kick back on deck to embrace the calmness and spirituality of Lake Huron, or take some time to connect with friends in the many public spaces aboard the ship. This day on the lake is all yours.

Day 6: Mackinac Island

Vacationers adore this unique American destination. Its devotees long for the time they can return to their beloved island retreat and truly disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Clip-clop rhythms of horse hooves soothe the soul, with not a car in sight. The rich aroma of Mackinac’s signature treat – its famous fudge – permeates charming shops. This peaceful port draws visitors back year after year. Tour the island by carriage and visit Fort Mackinac. Afterward, marvel at myriad magnificent selections on the Grand Hotel luncheon buffet for an included mid-day meal to treasure. And the view at the hotel from America’s longest front porch stretches for miles.

Day 7: Green Bay

Anthems of green and gold ring proud, but the song of the city harmonizes the whole spectrum. Experience the many colors of Green Bay, from red-flowing winery to sip of blue atmosphere. The city showcases the many shades of local cultivators in markets filled with man- and nature-made goods year-round. This pelican’s playground is home to a plethora of craft breweries, boutiques and, of course, fresh sea fare.

Day 8: Muskegon

This outdoor lovers’ haven on Lake Michigan’s eastern shore offers multiple state parks and trails, two paddle sport rivers, 26 miles of beaches and a winter sports park. Maritime history lovers gravitate here to tour the USS LST (Landing Ship, Tank) 393 Veterans Museum and USS Silversides Submarine Museum – America’s most decorated surviving submarine.

Day 9: Disembark in Chicago

As the journey concludes, there are additional opportunities for you to take in the town. Consider a post-cruise premium experience with airport transfer, or enhance your vacation with a Chicago City Stay Package.

Important reminder: Embracing the unexpected is part of the fun of travelling. Programs and schedules may change due to weather, tides, local circumstances and venue changes. A measure of flexibility is something all of us must bring to a voyage.
